So I have been typing Wiler, Switzerland but ‘W’ is pronounces ‘V’. I hope the spelling above helps my American friends! First day of October and angels showed up on the train yesterday to help me find my way. It is currently 3 PM Swiss time and my body is telling me to go take a nap. I missed breakfast and guessed it was about 7:30 AM but it was 11 AM! No internet figured out and the phone plan was carefully selected but does not cover this area . I hope by next week I will be connecting with people more properly. My first impression of YWAM 50 Plus is grace. I don’t ever want to forget the warm staff reception considering I arrived a day before I was supposed to (always read the complete letter) – leave nothing to chance. Dinner involved staff and families and I counted 10-ish under twenties. An engagement has been announced and there are several young couples and young families. I might be the oldest person here and wonder if that should be a point of pride or an embarrassment. I have gone on a walk and saw cows and rain. Another American has just arrived from Texas. My room is so nice and I will share with an Australian and a woman from Poland. Formal welcome is tomorrow, Sunday, and classes begin Monday. The closest church is Swiss-German. Hope all is well over there. I’m in the right place and at the right time.
