Is a shout-out the same as boasting? I think not. Boasting is about me. A shout-out is about others. So many shout-outs – my heart is full. Because I will be away, I’ve spent time in Idaho and Texas with my children and grandchildren. I will be back soon but these memories are precious: hikes, swimming in the lake, playing marbles, baking cookies, Crayola World, cooking together, walks, coloring, eating – lots! The laughter will store me up for months. Also a shout-out to my spiritual roots. I have been overwhelmed by the connection with past Sunday-school teachers and friends from Lawndale, CA. I moved north in 1993 and had been at a church in Torrance from about 1983 but such connection! Thank you. Others from the family of faith… you are encouraging me to trust God. Remember BOB?
