I like to say that to people – Go with God. I met a couple on a flight and hoped to connect enough for a gospel conversation. The alcohol flowed. It became less interesting. I did not say, “Go with God”. We discussed many things but God is sober and sobering. That is also why He does not change direction for me. God is in our thoughts and that gives us direction. How many thoughts go through your mind every day? Some are random and others worrisome. What is worthwhile? John 8:32 reads, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. The truth is that God is our Abba Father. He is Creator, Our Redeemer, Lord God Almighty, the Eternal God, Only Wise God, a Consuming Fire, Our Judge, Holy One, Sovereign Lord, God of Grace, Compassionate Father, Our Great Reward, Almighty, Faithful, True, and Everlasting. We can go with someone like that.
