This is not an important post but an interesting post. I stopped writing down words a month ago. I have been reading a variety of books and noting the meanings of “new” words. Some of these writers are either from another planet or know more languages and words than me. I started a list to stretch my vocabulary. Here you go…
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
disinclination is a noun – lack of enthusiasm
sacrosanct is an adjective – too important or valuable to be interfered with
eschatological domino – falling pieces (relating to death, judgement, destiny of soul and humankind)
adiaphora – indifferent
polemically – aggressive attack on others opinions
bifurcation – separate, divide into two branches or forks
inaugurated eschatology – belief that end times were inaugurated in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus (there are “already” and “not yet” aspects to the Kingdom of God)
indigent is an adjective – poor and needy
Another reminder that I am not as smart as I think I am.
