Thank you for following me as I work at following Jesus. I make a habit of reading the daily devotions in Our Daily Bread. On Monday, I read Deuteronomy 4:9-14 and I hope this all sounds familiar. Quoting the devotion, “One of the most wonderful ways parents and grandparents can influence their children is by passing down the truths of Scripture. Moses charged God’s people to ‘not forget hearts’ (v 9). He went on to say that sharing these things with their children and their grandchildren would enable them to learn to ‘revere’ Him (v 10) and to live according to His truth in the land He was giving them.” We can go across town or across the world but we are to keep FIRST THINGS FIRST. I am very proud of my children. They are teaching their children about God’s grace and the Jesus who knows and loves them. Hallelujah!
