That is why I trust Him.
This song has been spinning around me all day. Not because of a particular answer to said prayers but because of the comfort in knowing who He is and what He is capable of doing. I’m finishing Deuteronomy and am reminded that God planned the exact day that the children of Israel crossed the Jordan. He planned for the walls of Jericho to fall in an unusual way. He fashioned an entire takeover of heathen peoples who did not follow Him. He has the same kind of plan for the countries you feel compelled to enter, be it a foreign land or a new friend. The only reason we are still here is because of God’s plans for us. Trust Him. Go with Him. Another song from the radio today was, “Afflictions eclipsed by glory”, as I return from urgent care, with a bag of pills, through the sleet and freezing ice.
