PRAISING OUR GOD:
So much to be grateful for. Open doors and provision for this missions trip and training. It is looking good and then I learn that my visa application was misplaced but is now found! Thank the Lord. Please pray that the timeline will be met and I will have visa in hand before September 29th.
PRAYING AROUND US:
I have had one long-time friend ask me why I need to cross an ocean? Why can’t I serve locally? I was surprised and tried not to feel discouraged. Simply put, when I look to my right and to my left, I see more opportunities to know the story of Jesus. There are post-Christian societies east of us and the 10/40 window of unreached people groups. In this season I am able to go with your blessing and encouragement. Why would I not obey the GO message?
PRAYING SCRIPTURE:
Matt 28:20. “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
I have read another version that says, “to the end of the world”. The time reference makes more sense but what we can pray for today is that no matter where we are in the world, the Lord is with us!
