Two Black Crows

Posted on September 23, 2022September 23, 2022 by Pam

Ps 138:3

“On the day I needed You, I called, and you responded and infused my soul with strength.” (the Voice)

I try to keep my eyes on the road but was on the backroad in Woodinville along the railroad tracks. People walk their dogs and other dogs along that stretch on road (nearby pet adoption center) but what caught my eye was the menacing black crow that flew near my windshield. I don’t know why black crows get such a bad rap and hummingbirds are cherished. They do different things and look different but are both birds. People are like that. I’m completing a read of “Contagious Disciple Making”, by Watson and Watson. Near the end is a list 75 COMMANDS FOR LIVING IN COMMUNITY, referencing the scriptures that list “one another passages”. It is interesting and I believe it is true but I am heading into another country with people very different from me to live in community and serve the Lord in anyway I am able. It won’t be perfect and might even be painful but I am aiming at fun. What could be better than talking about Jesus everyday? By the way, the menacing black crow landed beside the railroad tracks, next to another black crow and they seemed to greet each other. Nothing menacing here after all. In six days I fly!
